1. Slow down your breathing by intentionally having shorter inhale and longer exhale.

2. Noticing where in the body you are feeling those strong emotions.

3. Ask your self on a scale of 0 to 10 where 10 is the strongest, and 0 is the opposite, where are you on the scale now?

4. Remain curious, observing, and non-judgmental of the feeling and sensations in the body.

5. Noticing where it is right now, does it have a shape? sizes, texture? temperature?

6. All emotions (energy in motion) are moving, just observing which direction is it moving or flowing.

7. At this point, there are multiple ways you can work with what you have just observed:

Things you can do or try:

a. move the energy that you feel in your body in the opposite direction or flow, and see what changed.

b. move the energy around in the body, see where can it go, and notice if it changes how you are feeling when it is moved to another part of the body. (move to your thumb, fingertips, little toes, palm or anywhere else in the body)

c. feel it on your palm, in the form of a ball, or some other shapes that you like, mold it, change it, add color, play with texture, and more.

d. you may shake it off when it is not useful anymore, or when the sensation is no longer felt in the body. Shake it off (literally)

Check how you are feeling again on a scale of 0 to 10.

- If it changed, congratulations. Do you want it any lower?

- If it hasn't changed, no worries, observe again where is it in the body, and repeat.
